OPEN SOURCE MONSTER 13
Good morning. How are you? I hope you're having a good week so far. It's been a bit tense on my end, but what can you do? These things happen. And what better way to reboot the brain than with some monster activity?
It is, of course, high time for a fresh Open Source Ink Blot! If you're a monster first-timer, here's how it works: Download OPEN SOURCE INK BLOT 13, print it out, and have at it in any way you like: Draw, paint, carve, film, or sculpt. Just scan or photograph the result and send it my way at opensource@344design.com and I'll put the result on the blog right here.
Don't worry if you have no artistic training whatsoever. Don't worry if you've can't draw a straight line to save your life. Don't worry if you're 89 years old. Or 5. All monsters are welcome!
And if this particular ink blot does nothing for you, don't think twice about using one of the previous blots. (That's exactly what Tiffany did yesterday.) In fact, let me list the links to all blots so far:

Monsters that came in over the weekend!
I had some fun, too!
I'm excited to see what you'll do with Number 13! I know you'll blow my mind.
You always do! It's one of the many reasons that 344 LOVES YOU

Your holographic/blimp monster is one of my favorites, because of the atmosphere is totally different from all other monsters I've seen. And the alien logo on his sleeve seems more intriguing. Is he hovering over a city as a threat? Is he about to return home? Or does he do this for fun?
Great job everybody! Eric's monster reminds me of the B.F.G. of Dahl's. :] Sort of.

Oooh! Interesting theories, Danielle! A holographic blimp? Now that you say it, I can see what you mean! I like it! In fact, your interepretation is so much more fun than my own that I'll just sign on with yours. A Holo-Blimp Monster it is! Now, is he hovering as a threat? Or to go home? I don't know. Maybe somebody scared him and this is his defensive posture? Sort of like a monster puffer fish?
